WYRE RAMBLERS 2011
 
Wyre Ramblers are a friendly, long established rambling group based on the North Fylde area of Lancashire. Membership of the club is mostly derived from the local towns of Fleetwood, Thornton, Cleveleys and Poulton-le-Fylde.

Coach trips are made fortnightly all year round and for the 2011 season we will visit North Lancashire, The Eden Valley, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Howgill Fells, Peak District, Staffordshire and North Yorkshire.

A variety of walks are usually available, each led by an experienced leader. These will usually cover distances from about 6 miles to 15 miles, depending on conditions, locality and time of year.

0740hrs. - BISPHAM - Devonshire Road Roudabout (opposite garage)
0750hrs. - FLEETWOOD - Broadway (Hesketh House)
0755hrs. - FLEETWOOD - Broadway Post Office (St. Nicholas's Church)
0757hrs. - FLEETWOOD - Poulton Road (Barney's Bingo Hall)
0800hrs. - FLEETWOOD - Library (Albert Street)
0815hrs. - THORNTON - Shopping Precinct (Victoria Road East)
0820hrs. - POULTON - River Wyre Hotel (Mains Lane)
0835hrs. - GARSTANG - on the A6 at The Flag or Crofters

In the summer we set off home around 1800hrs.

In winter we return roughly 15\30 mins after sunset time once it falls below 1800hrs., example, on the Hawkshead trip November 6th 2011, sunset is 1628hrs. so we’ll set off home at 1700hrs.

We allow non members to accompany us for 4 outings, after which we then expect them to become members of the Wyre Ramblers Club. Membership is currently £10 per annum. The 4 outings can be taken at any time throughout the year.

BOOKING A SEAT ON THE COACH
Fares (irrespective of distance)
Adults: £8.00
Children (under 16): £4.00
All children MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Fares will be collected on the way home.

Seats may be booked for the next outing on the coach.

Cancellations of seats must be made by the Tuesday preceding the trip, otherwise payment is due in full. Contact information is provided on your membership card.

Please show some consideration for those people running the club and
DO NOT PHONE OUTSIDE THE SPECIFIED TIMES SHOWN ON YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD.

Any seats that are booked and not occupied must be paid for in full at the earliest opportunity.
