Thornfield House bed and breakfast guest accommodation is situated
in a relaxed and welcoming environment in the Edwardian seaside town
of Grange over Sands in Cumbria, UK.

Located only a few minutes level walk from the centre of Grange over Sands
we are the ideal place from which to explore the specialist shops, restaurants
and cafes that are on offer.

Perfectly located between Cartmel Fell and Morecambe Bay there is much
to explore in the area. Stroll along the traffic free Promenade in Grange,
relax in the Victorian Park Gardens or climb up into the fells to enjoy the views
and tranquillity. If you want to explore further afield we are only a 20 minute
drive from Lake Windermere and all that the National Park has to offer.

Double Bedroom

Our six guest bedrooms are all ensuite, freshly decorated and
comfortably furnished. Widescreen televisions and dvd
players are available as standard.




Twin Bedroom

We have a combination of double, twin, single and premium/family
rooms available Our single rooms have the benefit of not incurring a
single supplement charge.




Room with a View

Thornfield House enjoys uninterrupted views across Morecambe Bay
stretching from Arnside round to Heysham and on a clear day
Blackpool Tower is visible.

After completing a cross bay walk you can relax with a clear view of the
Bay you have crossed.

To make the most of our location we have a large dining room / lounge
with spectacular views these are replicated from some of the
ensuite bedrooms.

The dining room is used for serving freshly prepared breakfasts and
evening meals focused on locally sourced ingredients all prepared personally
on the premises from homemade jams to three course evening meals.

The private car park, welcoming tray of tea or freshly ground coffee and
homemade biscuits in your room are just the start to making your holiday
relaxed and memorable.
