extensive well kept grounds are attractive all year round.

Traditional Lakeland Style

The 5 cottages, 1 to 4 bedrooms in size, are converted from the original farmstead buildings
and constructed in the traditional Lakeland style.

Well Equipped Cottages

They are comfortably furnished and well equipped: facilities include satellite TV,
DVD players, free wireless broadband internet and an outdoor, all natural, wood fired
hot tub which can be booked by the day.

In addition to the cottage accommodation, we have a studio apartment for short
breaks all year round and a caravan for the ‘close to nature’ experience

Looking Down on Manesty and Derwentwater

Less than a mile from the shores of Derwentwater, Manesty is one of the most
peaceful corners of Borrowdale.

Manesty in Winter - Open All Year

During off-peak periods all our cottages can be booked up to a year in advance for short breaks
of any length.  Since the rest of the world hasn’t yet learnt the beauty of the Lake District outside
of the Summer rush, you, with the other discerning few, have it to yourselves
