Link House Guest House

Link House is a late Victorian Country Guest House, situated on the edge of
Bassenthwaite Lake. Traditionally built in the late Victorian age, this country
house enjoys stunning views of the forest and surrounding fells including
the 3046 feet Skiddaw. The sunny aspect gives a warm and comfortable
atmosphere in which to relax and feel at home.

We are situated almost half-way between the towns of Keswick and Cockermouth.
Link House is easy to find. In the quieter part of the Lake District National Park,
yet with access to many interesting places to visit such as the Whinlatter Visitor
Centre where the Ospreys who nest nearby each year, can be viewed.

Link House Landscape

Link House is an ideal location for visiting the quieter lakes of Buttermere,
Crummock Water, Ennerdale Water and Loweswater. Here you will find a
picturesque tranquility that is perhaps less well known.

There are many gentle walks close to the house, and the surrounding northern
and western fells have walks & climbs to suit just about everyone, including
Wythop Woods and Whinlatter forests.

Link House . . . A place for all seasons

This is a landscape for all seasons - the Spring daffodils and lambs, the
Summer sunshine (and rain!), the Autumn colours or the snow covered fells in Winter

Link House Breakfast Buffet

The full cooked breakfast uses fresh local produce. Lighter options include cereals,
home made granola, yoghurt, fruit and porridge.

Evening meals and packed lunches are also available by prior arrangement.
