After retirement Ken Rotheram decided to write about the Lake District. A friend suggested a CD Rom and the first publication has sold 1.000 copies in Tourist Information Centres. A new program has enabled more multimedia features and new CD ROMs have text, photos, video, background music, Internet links, e-mail links, scrolling satellite based maps and scrolling panoramas. The latest multimedia CD ROM is about the walks and tours in the Lake District.

I was lucky enough to come across this web site whilst planning a trip to Scotland. Personally, I'm not up to this type of mountain walking/climbing, so the next best thing is to enjoy the fine photography of somebody who is.

3 Peaks Walks

There are two walks in the UK that are generally known as the "Three Peaks Walk". The first is the National Three Peaks Walk, which takes in the summits of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden and the second is the Three Peaks of Yorkshire, which takes in Penyghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. This site at present concentrates solely on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Walk, but at some future point in time will be extended to cover the National Three Peaks Walk as well.
