Add your local Dales and Vales Accommodation page to your favourites list and regularly check your entries to make sure any links are in good working order.


Blue Sky

Always make sure that if you have an exterior photograph of your premises then try and supply one that has a blue sky and good lighting. I can't emphasise too much the importance of this as to getting viewers to click onto your web site link. People want to see a blue sky on holiday, if you supply a picture with a flat, grey, lifeless sky, then this the image a possible customer will have of your location!

I already have an entry but wish to change my Contact Details/Photograph/Descriptive Text. Can and how do I make the changes?
A.
Yes, you can make changes free of charge. All you need to do is send your image as a jpeg attachment or type your alterations into an e-mail to Dales and Vales. Click-Here for e-mail form. Please don't send text details in a Microsoft Word file, it makes much harder work and delays things. When sending make sure you supply the name of your accommodation and your location, you'd be surprised at how many people send updated information and forget to make any reference as to who is actually sending the photograph or text! Updating of photographs or changes to text should normally be completed within 48 hours.

I already have a web site, so what is the advantage of having a Dales an Vales Brochure page?
A.
The Brochure Page helps to attract additional viewers and promotes your existing web site by linking to it. It can also be used as a quick reference for viewers searching for accommodation. For smaller accommodation businesses who do not have the time or want the expence of running a full web site the Brochure Page may be all that you require.

What is the Dales and Vales "Home Page Photograph"?
A.
Each month Dales and Vales changes its Home Page photograph to try and reflect the appropriate season of the year. Wherever possible we will use a photo supplied by one of our "Page Sponsors". Additional text to promote the featured accommodation is added below the photograph. This is an extremely popular addition to Dales and Vales but not all photographs are suitable, for a number of reasons.
