Upper Swaledale is a stunningly peaceful and beautiful corner of the Yorkshire Dales. Largely undiscovered. A perfect place to relax and unwind for a few days; many choose to take in the spectacular walking on its doorstep. Rowleth End, built in the heart of Upper Swaledale in 1924 in the Art Deco style as a Gentleman's residence and shooting lodge, has always been a place of hospitality. Now a well appointed and comfortable five-bedroomed guest house, it is also the current owner's home. Guests are welcomed into both.

Swale Farm is an 18th century farmhouse, set in the village of Muker, has provided bed & breakfast accommodation by the Kilburn family for over 80 years. The accommodation consists of 1 Double and 1 Twin bedroom. Both rooms have en-suite showers, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-fridge and a hair drier. The Double room has views of Swale Valley looking towards the north and east. The twin room has views towards the church and beyond to the hills on the south side of the valley. Muker village is close to the Pennine Way and the Coast to Coast long distance footpath routes, and is a superb base for walking the Dales.
