Come and relax at Fellside holiday cottages, on the lower slopes of Catbells with stunning views of Derwentwater and the Borrowdale fells and valley. Set in 8 acres of private woodland gardens, home to the red squirrels. The cottages are 4 miles from Keswick and a 10 minute walk to Derwentwater. There is direct access straight onto the fells and lakeshore through a private gate in the garden. We also have cottages a short distance away in the Newlands Valley. Derwentwater lies to the south of Keswick, and Manesty is situated at the western side of the lake. The Borrowdale valley runs beside the lake and down to the Honister Pass which leads to Buttermere. It is a beautiful part of the Lake District.

Melbecks is situated at the foot of Skiddaw and close to the northern shore of Lake Bassenthwaite, just to the north of Keswick in the Lake District National Park in Cumbria. We have 5 self catering cottages providing accommodatio for up to 21 people. 'Randel', sleeps 2, is a former cow byre and provides cosy accommodation in a single open plan room. Conventionally laid-out, 'Dash', sleeps 4, looks out towards the play area and on to towards Skiddaw. 'Dodd', sleeps 4 is open to the roof eaves and has a galleried double bedroom. 'Skiddaw' sleeps 4 and looks out across Bassenthwaite Lake towards Binsey and Barf. 'Uldale', sleeping 7, has an upside-down layout making the most of its views towards Skiddaw. At Melbecks we look forward to welcoming you and your dog(s). The Lake District is a great place to bring your dog and we can provide advice on where you can walk your dog locally, on and off the lead.

We are based in Borrowdale Keswick, the Heart of the Lake District. You can either tour the lakes or go further afield, Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Dales,
Scotland anywhere in the UK. You can leave your car with us, when you pick the van up. You get freedom and choice to do what you want. Our Fiat Bessecarr E410 2 berth is a luxury motorhome with everything you require to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The Motorhome provides luxury daytime living with 2 sofas and 2 swival seats at the front, while at night the comfortable forward lounge with gas fire can be quickly converted into a large double bed. Towards the rear is a fully fitted kitchen with hot and cold runing water, also there is a spacious wash room with shower, toilet and sink. There is a large wardrobe to store your clothes in and ample storage space around the Motorhome.
