The High Range has been under the personal supervision of the Vastano family since 1976, where the standards and style has been influenced by continuity and continental flair. The complex is situated in its own birch woodland park at the south end of Aviemore on the B9152 road directly opposite the Coylumbridge B970 road leading to Loch Morlich and the ski slopes. Our guests enjoy the seclusion and privacy of the complex woodland, and yet are only a five minute walk from the Aviemore centre.

Pictorial Walking Guides

Originally compiled in the 1950s and early 1960s, the Wainwright walking guides are perhaps the most distinctive and unusual such guides ever devised. The result of painstaking and lengthy research by their namesake and author over a period of thirteen years, the guides have retained their original format and design to this day.
