The Apothecary's House is an attractive three-storey Georgian House in the village of Askrigg at the centre of Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales. The house is centrally located in the village, just below Skeldale House, the surgery of the vet, James Herriot, in the well-known TV series "All Creatures Great and Small". All of our bedrooms have en-suite facilities, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, clock radios, shaver points and hair dryers. We offer a four-star bed and breakfast experience in our converted chapel in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Our aim is simple: we want your stay at Bottom Chapel to be the very best we can make it. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable and free from the pressures of life. Bottom Chapel was built by the Methodists in 1878 and was a place of worship until the mid 1990s when it was partially converted by the people who lived here before us.
