We offer a four-star bed and breakfast experience in our converted chapel in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Our aim is simple: we want your stay at Bottom Chapel to be the very best we can make it. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable and free from the pressures of life. Bottom Chapel was built by the Methodists in 1878 and was a place of worship until the mid 1990s when it was partially converted by the people who lived here before us. Ing Hill is 300 metres up on the North Pennine fells to the east of Lakeland, situated in the lovely dale of Mallerstang, part of the Upper Eden Valley. There are fine views from the site. It is less than four miles from the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the entrance to Herriot country, with the Lakes only 30 miles or so. Within a short drive can be found attractive pubs, teashops and restaurants. The market town of Kirkby Stephen is some five miles, providing local shopping and a variety of antique and craft shops. Here you will also find the local Tourist Information Centre and be able to reach the station on the famous Settle-Carlisle Line. Horse riding, golf and fishing are all available nearby.
