We are also situated next to Kirkbymoorside golf course which allows visitors. Our remoteness affords us a genuine tranquillity with masses of wildlife around the farm. Although not now a purely working farm, it still maintains its character with the beautiful stone outbuildings and sheep and ponies to be found grazing in the fields surrounding. The walks here are wonderful with breathtaking views that change with the seasons. Ampleforth College Just 20 minutes from Ampleforth College and St Martin’s Prep School, High park farm is a great place for weekends. We remember those awkward Sunday’s that just slightly dragged, so we have created a special weekend deal. Come and stay Saturday night, we will then send you off to mass after a proper breakfast.  While you are away we will cook lunch for all the gang, so if there are friends and cousins to come out it is as easy as your own home.  After lunch either relax in front of the fire with the T.V., Sunday papers and lots of board games or go for an invigorating walk.  One of our spaniels will show you the way if you want!  Return for cake and tea before departing. Jan and Duncan Allsopp would like to welcome you to Rawcliffe House Farm B&B. All our spacious bed & breakfast rooms are fully centrally heated and double glazed, enabling all year round use. Old oak beams and loads of character are a strong feature at Rawcliffe House and the modern en-suite bathrooms have a full sized bathroom with a shower over bath. Situated only 6 miles north of the bustling market own of Pickering and in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Rawcliffe House Farm is the perfect place to explore the area. As for the Farm, we don’t work it but we have 42 acres which our next door farmer grazes his cattle on in the summer. We keep goats, 40+ hens, ducks, and the usual dogs and cats ourselves, so we are a partial working farm. We do not have all the barns smelly stuff and loads of machinery about, apart from the tractor.
