The guests lounge is particulary stunning with its tall contemporary stained glass windows. It is a romantic place to stay, Mary is a gifted hostess who only allows good ingredients into her kitchen.Dog/walker/cyclist friendly. Laundry and drying facilities.

Here at Greycroft you will find real North country hospitality set in the splendid scenery of “England’s Last Wilderness”. Although in Cumbria, we are on the fringe of Northumberland and Durham. Greycroft is set on a corner site with open views south across the beautiful South Tyne valley towards Cross Fell (the highest point on the Pennines). It is in the peaceful hamlet of the Raise, a five minute walk into Alston and is tastefully furnished to a high standard with our guests in mind.
